Resolution approving execution of a Deed between the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh and the Housing Authority of the City of Pittsburgh with respect to the conveyance of the following properties, in the 3rd and 5th Wards of the City of Pittsburgh, in Redevelopment Area Nos. 31 and 42 - Council District No. 6:

Block 10-J, Lots 6, 7, 7A, 9, 55, 56, 60, 67, 269, 270, 271, 334, 335, 338, 339
Block 10-N, Lots 13, 14, 15, 18, 97, 98A, 99, 104, 106, 107

Body
Whereas, pursuant to Ordinance No. 190, approved April 5 ,2000, and in the manner prescribed by the Urban Redevelopment Law, Act of May 24, 1945, P.L. 991, as amended, the Redevelopment Proposal for Redevelopment Area Nos. 31 and 42 in the 3rd and 5th Wards of the City of Pittsburgh was approved; and

Whereas, the Housing Authority of the City of Pittsburgh has paid all costs associated with the acquisition and maintenance of the above-listed properties; and

Whereas, the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh has requested authorization to execute a Deed with the Housing Authority of the City of Pittsburgh with respect to the conveyance of the above-listed properties, for $1.00, said properties being located in Redevelopment Area Nos. 31 and 42 in the 3rd and 5th Wards of the City of Pittsburgh; and

Whereas, the Council of the City of Pittsburgh believes that the proposed Contract is in the best interest of the City of Pittsburgh and desires to give its approval in accordance with the provisions of the Urban Redevelopment Law.

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

Section 1. That authorization to execute a Deed between the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh and the Housing Authority of the City of Pittsburgh with respect to the conveyance of the above-listed properties, for $1.00, said properties being located in the 3rd and 5th Wards of the City of Pittsburgh, be and the...
