Resolution granting unto the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh, 4400 Forbes Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15213, their successors and assigns, the privilege and license to construct, maintain and use at their own cost and expense a book drop, waste/recycling containers and a business identification sign on the sidewalk area at 2205 East Carson Street in the 16th Ward, 3rd Council District of the City of Pittsburgh.

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

Section 1. That the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh, 4400 Forbes Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15213, their successors and assigns, are hereby granted the privilege to construct, maintain and use at their own cost and expense,

1. Book drop off: stainless steel 38” x 50” x 56” with standard Carnegie Library logo, 18”+ back from face of curb.
2. Two (2) aluminum litter and recycling receptacles, 2'± in diameter, 2' out from property line;
3. Sign: Internally illuminated LED flag sign, 17'3” overall height, sign 7' x 3' steel pole mounted into sidewalk; As per Exhibit A, on the 15' sidewalk area at 2205 East Carson Street, in the 16th Ward, 3rd Council District of the City of Pittsburgh.

The said encroachment shall conform to the provisions of their resolution and in accordance with the Plan identified as Accession D-755 on file in the Division of Surveys, Department of Public Works.

Section 2. The said Grantee prior to the beginning of the construction of said encroachment shall submit to the Director of the Department of Public Works of the City of Pittsburgh a complete set of plans, in triplicate, showing the location and all details of said construction. Said plans and said construction shall be subject to the approval and supervision of the Director of the Department of Public Works.
