Title: NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that Almost A Miracle Campaign wishes to acknowledge and thank the Masons and the Knights of Columbus for their dedication and commitment to this campaign; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh declares September 28, 2004 to be "Almost A Miracle Campaign Day" in the City of Pittsburgh.

WHEREAS, Earl V. Jones, Sr. is founder and Chairman of Almost A Miracle Campaign and the founder of Peace on Earth; and
 
WHEREAS, The Co-Chairmen are Tom Flaherty, Allegheny County Democratic Chairman, Bob Glancy, Allegheny County Republican Chairman, E. Charles Selinsky, Past Master 32nd Degree Mason, Jack Pischke, Past President Knights of Columbus, Jack Farrell, Shriner Potentate, Harvey Adams, Jr., Past President N.A.A.C.P., Dr. Ronald Bowes of the Pittsburgh Diocese, and Dr. Raymond B. McClain of the Pittsburgh Public Schools; and
 
WHEREAS, Almost A Miracle Campaign is in honor of the Masons and Knights of Columbus and promotes Peace on Earth, Say No To Drugs, and Save the Ten Commandments; and
 
WHEREAS, The week of October 4th through the 8th over 1,000 stuffed animals will be displayed in the lobby of the City-County Building and will be donated to the children to take home and cherish; and
 
WHEREAS, This campaign started over twenty years ago and went from Pittsburgh to Allegheny County and around the world where children have competed in contests for money, bonds, medals, trophies and proclamations; and
