Title

Resolution providing that the City of Pittsburgh enter into a professional services agreement or agreements at a cost not to exceed One Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($150,000) with Mercy Occupational Health Services for professional services in connection with the administration and evaluation of medical examinations and related tests and procedures for the Civil Service Commission's medical examination program for current and prospective employees.

 

Body

Be it resolved that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh hereby enacts as follows:

 

Section 1.                     The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Personnel and Civil Service Commission, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are hereby authorized to enter into an agreement or agreements in a form approved by the City Solicitor, for Mercy Occupational Health Services to provide professional services in connection with the administration and evaluation of medical examinations and related tests and procedures for the Civil Service Commission's medical examination program for current and prospective employees at a cost not to exceed One Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($150,000), and are chargeable and payable from Code Account 574600, Fund 1000, Sub Class 040, Organization Code 999300, Budget Year 2001, Department of Personnel and Civil Service Commission, .

 

These professional services will include but not be limited to:

 

Pre-employment medical examinations                     Medical Review Officer (MRO) functions

Promotional medical examinations                                          DOT and non-DOT drug and alcohol testing

Return-to-work medical examinations                     Specimen collection services
