Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. The Mayor and/or the Director of the Department of General Services and the Director of the Department of Engineering and Construction, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are hereby authorized to advertise for proposals and to award and enter into a Contract or Contracts, or use existing Contracts for the installation and maintenance of traffic signal equipment throughout the City at a cost not to exceed $100,000.00 chargeable to and payable from Account 600000, Fund 5100, Org 301000, Sub-Class PGHPR, Project/Grant 2235100, Budget Year 2002.
