Title
Ordinance amending the Pittsburgh Code, Title Five - Traffic, Article VII - Parking, Chapter 543 - Parking Meters, Section 543.01 - Parking Meter Zones and Rates, Subsection (b), so as to suspend nighttime enforcement of parking meters until January 1, 2012.

Be it resolved that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh hereby enacts as follows:

Section 1. The Pittsburgh Code, Title Five - Traffic, Article VII - Parking, Chapter 543 - Parking Meters, Section 543.01 - Parking Meter Zones and Rates, Subsection (b) is hereby amended as follows:.

(b) Parking meter zones shall have the following rates and hours of operation:
The following hourly on-street metered parking fees are enforceable Monday through Saturday per the schedule below. Enforcement will begin at 8:00 a.m. in all zones and will conclude at either 6:00 p.m. or 10:00 p.m., as specified. Enforcement shall not occur after 6:00 PM until January 1, 2012. The initial rates in each zone are shown in the column captioned "Current". The first rate adjustment will take effect on June 1, 2011, while all subsequent rate adjustments will occur on January 1 of the respective year.
