Body

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

Section 1.                     The Mayor and the Chief Equity Officer of the Bureau of Neighborhood Empowerment, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are hereby authorized to enter into an Agreement or Agreements, or utilize existing Agreements or Contracts with Neighborhood Allies for the creation of Financial Empowerment Centers to provide all city residents with the opportunity to access free one-on-one financial counseling services, in an amount not to exceed Thirty Thousand Dollars ($30,000.00), chargeable to and payable from account 11101.102100.53.53901.2019.  Advantage Credit Counseling is contracted by the City of Pittsburgh and Neighborhood Allies to provide this service.  This contract is administered by Neighborhood Allies on behalf of the partnership between the City of Pittsburgh and Neighborhood Allies.
