Resolution transferring a total of Forty Thousand dollars ($40,000) from the Parks Tax Trust Fund City Council Grants & Donations to the Special Events Trust Fund, for the purpose of supporting Juneteenth related activities or celebrations.

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh:
Section 1. The Controller and the Office of Management and Budget are hereby authorized and directed to transfer a total of Forty Thousand dollars ($40,000) from the Parks Trust Fund, 28007.4000280070.2022 City Council Grants & Donations line item within the Office of Management and Budget, 11101.102200.58.58101.2022, to the Special Events Trust Fund, 29060.5000731400 for the purposes of supporting Juneteenth related activities or celebrations.
Section 2. The forty thousand dollars transferred into the Special Events Trust Fund shall be used for the sole purpose of supporting Juneteenth related activities and/or celebrations in City or State parks, including but not limited Market Square, Point State Park, and Allegheny Riverfront Park.
