Title

Resolution authorizing the Mayor and the Director of the Department of Public Works to enter into an Agreement or Agreements with Larson Design Group for costs associated with limited pre-construction, and construction services/management, inspections, and special inspections related to new construction of a combined public safety station, and providing for payment not to exceed Seven Hundred Thirty-Two Thousand, Nine Hundred and Thirty-Seven Dollars and Thirty-Four Cents ($732,937.34), over a period of two (2) years.

Whereas, the combined public safety station will consist of a Fire Station and Medic Station; and

 

Whereas, the combined public safety station development consists of a Passive House project, to be built prioritizing energy efficiency; and

 

Whereas, the combined public safety station is to be located at 1233 Mifflin Road in Pittsburgh’s Lincoln Place neighborhood.

 

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

 

Section 1. The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Public Works are hereby authorized to enter into an Agreement or Agreements with Larson Design Group for costs associated with limited pre-construction, and construction services/management, inspections, and special inspections related to new construction of a combined public safety station, and providing for payment not to exceed Seven Hundred Thirty-Two Thousand, Nine Hundred and Thirty-Seven Dollars and Thirty-Four Cents ($732,937.34), over a period of two (2) years, to be paid from the following account:
