• Title: NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby extend congratulations to Reverend Dr. J. Earl Garmon and the congregation on the 109th Anniversary of Trinity Baptist Church and commends Reverend Garmon on his successful ministry and successful pastoral guidance. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that today, September 26, 2004 be hereby declared "Trinity Baptist Church Day" in the City of Pittsburgh.

WHEREAS, for over a century, Trinity Baptist Church has offered a multitude of services to the community, where its mission focuses on loving one another and creating disciples, strong in mind, body and soul for Jesus Christ; and

WHEREAS, Reverend J. Earl Garmon, Sr. has preached the gospel and endowed guidance and spiritual renewal to the congregation for 24 years; and

WHEREAS, Reverend Garmon has also brought great leadership and labor rebuilding lives and bringing restoration and hope to the communities of the City of Pittsburgh and Allegheny County; and

WHEREAS, on Sunday, September 26, 2004, Reverend James E. Garmon and the congregation will celebrate the 109th Anniversary of Trinity Baptist Church.
