Resolution authorizing the Mayor and Director of City Planning to execute relevant agreements to receive grant funding to support the re-casting  and reconfiguring to make ADA accessible historic bronze water fountains designed by artist Frank Vittor and further providing for an agreement and expenditures not to exceed fifty thousand ($50,000) dollars for this stated purpose.
 
Body
Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
 
Section 1.      The Mayor and the Director of City Planning of the City of Pittsburgh are authorized to execute relevant agreements with the Laurel Foundation in order to receive a grant award of fifty thousand ($50,000) for the re-casting and reconfiguring of extant historic bronze water fountains designed by artist Frank Vittor for the purpose of installing new fountains-cast from original molds-- into City parks while making them accessible by current ADA specifications. The Grant Agreement shall be approved as to form and substance by the City Solicitor and monies shall be deposited into the account 1129400077.48311.00.
 
Section 2.  The Mayor and the Director of City Planning of the City of Pittsburgh are further authorized to enter into an Agreement, or Contract, or utilize existing Agreements or Contracts, in a form approved by the City Solicitor and not to exceed fifty thousand ($50,000) dollars, for professional services to conduct the conservation, re-configuration, re-casting, and installation of the fountain(s) under the terms of the agreement between the City and the Laurel Foundation. Said agreement or agreements, contract or contracts, or expenditures shall not exceed fifty thousand ($50,000) dollars chargeable to and payable from the Grants Trust Fund account 1129400077.
 
Finally, that any Ordinance or Resolution or part thereof conflicting with the provisions of this Resolution is hereby repealed so far as the same affects this resolution.
