Title

Resolution approving the amended Bedford Redevelopment Proposal, including Modification No. 1 to the Redevelopment Area Plan.  (Council District 6).

Body

Whereas, by Resolution No. 190, effective April 5, 2000, the Council of the City of Pittsburgh approved the Bedford Redevelopment Proposal for redevelopment activities in portions of Redevelopment Area No. 31, Crawford-Roberts, and Redevelopment Area No. 42, Greater Crawford-Roberts, in the 3rd and 5th wards of the City of Pittsburgh; and

Whereas, on October 30, 2001, the Planning Commission of the City of Pittsburgh approved the amended Bedford Redevelopment Proposal, including Modification No. 1 to the Redevelopment Area Plan; and

Whereas, the Council of the City of Pittsburgh is of the opinion that the amended Bedford Redevelopment Proposal, including Modification No. 1 to the Redevelopment Area Plan, is in the best interests of the residents of the City of Pittsburgh and desires to approve the same;

Be it resolved that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh hereby enacts as follows:

Section 1.                     The amended Bedford Redevelopment Proposal, including Modification No. 1 to the Redevelopment Area Plan, is hereby approved.
