Resolution approving Execution of a Deed by and between the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh and the City of Pittsburgh for the Sale of Block 50-H, Lots 196, 200, 207, 208, 209, 210, 212, 258 and 265, in the 10th Ward of the City of Pittsburgh - Council District No. 9 - Cornwall, Wicklow, Fannell Streets (Greenway)

Whereas, pursuant to Ordinance No. 393, approved September 15, 1967, and in the manner prescribed by the Urban Redevelopment Law, Act of May 24, 1945, P.L. 991, as amended, the Residential Land Reserve Fund Cooperation Agreement was approved; and

Whereas, pursuant to Ordinance No. 417, approved October 12, 1972, and in the manner prescribed by the Urban Redevelopment Law, Act of May 24, 1945, P.L. 991, as amended, the Neighborhood Housing Fund Cooperation Agreement was approved; and

Whereas, the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh has requested authorization to execute a Deed by and between the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh and the City of Pittsburgh, in connection with the sale of Block 50-H, Lots 196, 200, 207, 208, 209, 210, 212, 258 and 265, for $1.00, said properties being located in the 10th Ward of the City of Pittsburgh; and

Whereas, the City of Pittsburgh has requested authorization to accept the aforementioned Deed; and

Whereas, the Council of the City of Pittsburgh believes that the proposed conveyance is in the best interest of the City of Pittsburgh and desires to give its approval in accordance with the provisions of the Urban Redevelopment Law.

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

Section 1. That execution of a Deed by and between the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh and the City of Pittsburgh in connection with the sale of Block 50-H, Lots 196, 200, 207, 208, 209, 210, 212, 258 and 265, in the 10th Ward of the City of Pittsburgh for $1.00, be and the same is hereby approved, said conveyanc...
