Resolution authorizing the Mayor and the Director of the Department of Public Works to enter into an Agreement, Agreements, and/or Amendments with the Pittsburgh Water and Sewer Authority (“PWSA”) for the purpose of systemizing sewer stormwater separation and stormwater storage located in Brookline Memorial Park, at no cost to the City.

WHEREAS, this project is funded through the PWSA 2024 Capital Improvement Plan; and

 

WHEREAS, this work is in compliance with the Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (“MS4”) permit from the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (“PA DEP”); consistent with reducing Combined Sewer Overflows-a proposed federal regulatory action.

 

 

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

 

Section 1.                     The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Public Works are hereby authorized to enter into an Agreement, Agreements, and/or Amendments with the Pittsburgh Water and Sewer Authority (“PWSA”) for the purpose of systemizing sewer stormwater separation and stormwater storage located in Brookline Memorial Park, at no cost to the City.

 

Section 2.                     The Agreement or Agreements, and Amendments thereto, shall be approved by the City Solicitor as to form.
