Title

Resolution repealing Resolution 680 of 2001 entitled "Authorization to advertise for bids and/or to place orders to purchase vehicles for use by City Departments in anticipation of the allocation of 2002 Capital Budget funding.  Total cost not to exceed $3,000,000".

Body

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

Section 1.  That the Director of the Department of General Services, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, be authorized to advertise for bids and/or to place orders for vehicles for use by City Departments, in an amount not to exceed Three Million ($3,000,000) Dollars.  Payment for vehicles received shall be made no earlier that January 1, 2002, from Account 600000, Fund:  5100,  Organization:  840000, Sub Class:  PGHPR,  Project:  2255899, Budget Year 2002.

SECTION 2.

City Council hereby agrees to allocate no less than Three Million ($3,000,000) Dollars of City Bond funds to the Equipment Leasing Authority in the 2002 Capital Budget to cover the cost of vehicles ordered as authorized by this Resolution.

IS HEREBY REPEALED.
