WHEREAS, Naomi's Place Transitional Housing, Inc. will host a weekend of festivities beginning on Saturday, April 24, with the 5^th Annual Luncheon/Fashion Show at the Rivers Club and ending with the Groundbreaking Ceremony on Sunday, April 25, 2004 at 601Beatty Street; and

WHEREAS, Naomi's Place is expanding their horizons by providing more and better housing for their clients with extended services; and

WHEREAS, Naomi's Place Transitional Housing, Inc. will be expanding into a state of the art facility providing transitional housing and comprehensive services that focus on healthy lifestyles, interpersonal skills and family relationships for homeless single women and children.  The new housing will be able to accommodate more families; and

WHEREAS,  Naomi's Place transitional Housing will also focus on psychosocial development, parenting skills, budget/finance management, basic communication skills, interpersonal skills, conflict resolution skills, employment training, job placement, and grooming, so that each woman reach their full potential and become productive members of our community.
