WHEREAS for 40 years, the Bidwell Training Center has provided affordable career training for many individuals.  Their short-term accelerated programs allow students to gain necessary skills for employment in the field that they chose; and

WHEREAS Bidwell Training Center has helped countless individuals make their dreams become reality by providing economically disadvantaged individuals with the ability to get the education necessary for success.  Since 1968, the school has provided career training and GED programs regardless of race or religion; and

WHEREAS Bidwell Training Center's encouragement of life-long learning has increased opportunities that once were not possible for many of its students.  Their view of equal opportunity has inspired many and taught them that they too can overcome the barriers to success; and

WHEREAS it is upon the occasion of their 40^th Anniversary that we recognize Bidwell Training Center for their ongoing commitment to helping anyone who wishes to achieve their goals.
