Title

Resolution authorizing and directing the Directors of City Planning, Engineering and Construction, and Public Works to create a complete inventory of city steps, retaining walls, city sidewalks and curbs, fences and railings, concrete gutters and any other public infrastructure in the City of Pittsburgh.

Body

Be it Resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

 

Section 1. The Council of the City of Pittsburgh authorizes and directs the Directors of City Planning, Engineering and Construction, and Public Works to create a complete inventory of city steps, retaining walls, city sidewalks and curbs, fences and railings, concrete gutters and any other public infrastructure in the City of Pittsburgh.  The inventory is to consist of, but not be limited to, the location, condition grading and list of repairs and/or needed maintenance with cost estimates.

 

Section 2.  A preliminary report of the Public Steps, Retaining Walls, City Sidewalks and Curbs, Fences and Railings and concrete gutters Inventory is to be presented to the Council of the City of Pittsburgh during the 2002 Budget Hearings held in November and December 2001, and the final report is to be presented during the 2003 Budget Hearings held in November and December 2002.
