Body
WHEREAS, the City of Pittsburgh intends to purchase property located in the 19th Ward of the city of Pittsburgh at 1915 Broadway Avenue; and
 
WHEREAS, the City of Pittsburgh upon completion of the purchase of said property intends to lease a portion thereof to the Roman Catholic Diocese of Pittsburgh
 
Be it resolved by the council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
 
Section 1.  The Mayor and the Director of the Department of General Services, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are hereby authorized and directed to enter into an agreement(s) of lease and/or sub-lease agreement(s) with the Roman Catholic Diocese of Pittsburgh, in a form approved by the City Solicitor, for the leasing of certain office space as designated. of the facility located in the 19th Ward of the City of Pittsburgh at 1915 Broadway Avenue, with the right to use said facility as offices and other functional uses that may be deemed appropriate by both parties, at an annual rental fee of one dollar ($1.00) per year for a period of up to ten (10) years.
