Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
 
Section 1.      The Director of Public Safety on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, is hereby authorized to enter into contract or contracts, or use of existing contract or contracts, or agreement or agreements, for the purchase of equipment and to construct earthen berms, backstops, and the removal of lead to establish a proactive environmental stewardship plan necessary to make a commitment to the environment, the community, and officer safety for the Department of Public Safety, Bureau of Police Training Academy at a cost not to exceed Two Hundred Thousand, Seven Hundred and Forty Eight Dollars  ($200,748.00) payable from the following accounts:
