Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

 

Section 1.                     The Mayor is hereby authorized to issue and the City Controller to countersign a warrant in favor of Noel Phillips, and her attorneys, Mills & Henry, Attorneys at Law, for a single payment in 2025 in an amount not to exceed TWENTY THOUSAND DOLLARS AND ZERO CENTS ($20,000.00), payable from the Three Taxing Bodies Trust fund, account #1070876500.43903.00, in full and final settlement of a case filed in the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas at GD-24-006299.

 

Section 2.                     On payment of the warrant, the Mayor and the Director of the Department of Finance, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are authorized to acquire all right, title and interest in and to the property located at 5166 Broad Street, (L&B 50-L-189) in the 10th Ward from Noel Phillips.

 

Section 3.                     The property located at 5166 Broad Street, (L&B 50-L-189) is hereby dedicated for use as part of an expanded Nelson Mandela Peace Park.

 

Section 4.                     All related documents shall be in a form approved by the City Solicitor.
