Title

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

 

Section 1.  The Director of the Department of General Services and the Director of the Department of Public Works, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are hereby authorized to advertise for proposals and to award and enter into a Contract or Contracts, or the use of existing Contracts in a form approved by City Solicitor, for street resurfacing programs to include but not limited to hot mix asphalt, crack sealing, sawing and sealing, nova chip, flexible pavement, asphalt milling, truck rental, brick and blockstone repairs, transfers to salary accounts for city crews salaries, handicap ramps, concrete slab replacement and parks related asphalt work at various locations throughout the City of Pittsburgh, at a cost not to exceed Seven Hundred Fifty Five Thousand Four Hundred ($755,400.00)Three Million, Three Hundred Sixty Nine Thousand Four Hundred($3,369,400.00) Dollars, chargeable to and payable from Account 525500, Fund 5100 Org. 400000, Sub-Class PGHPR, Project 2239000, Budget Year 2001, Citywide Resurfacing, Department of Public Works.
