Resolution providing for a Contract or Contracts, or the use of existing Contracts for the purchase of fire protection equipment (uniforms) and related accessories for the Fire Bureau at a cost not to exceed Nine Hundred and Twenty Thousand Dollars ($920,000.00) and providing for the payment thereof.

Body

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

Section 1.      The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Public Safety or the Director of General Services, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are hereby authorized to enter into a Contract or Contracts, for the purchase of fire protection equipment (uniforms) and related accessories.  The total shall not exceed Nine Hundred and Twenty Thousand Dollars ($920,000.00), chargeable to and payable from Account 500000, Fund 2610, Organization 200000, Sub-Class C2005, Budget Year 2005, Project/Grant 2267075, Bureau of Fire, Department of Public Safety.
