Title

Charles Street and 558 Ridgewood Street - Council District No. 6 (Greenway).

Body

Whereas, the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh has requested authorization to execute a Deed by and between the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh and the City of Pittsburgh, in connection with the sale of Block 45-S, Lots 1 and 266, Block 45-L, Lots 11, 13, 14 and Block 46-N, Lot 106, in the 25^th & 26^th Wards of the City of Pittsburgh, for the sum of $1.00, and

Whereas, the City of Pittsburgh has requested authorization to accept the aforementioned Deed; and

Whereas, the Council of the City of Pittsburgh believes that the proposed conveyance is in the best interest of the City of Pittsburgh and desires to give its approval in accordance with the provisions of the Urban Redevelopment Law.

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

Section 1.                     That execution of a Deed by and between the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh and the City of Pittsburgh in connection with the sale of Block 45-S, Lots 1 and 266, Block 45-L, Lots 11, 13, 14 and Block 46-N, Lot 106 for $1.00, said property being located in the 25^th and 26^th Wards of the City of Pittsburgh, be and the same is hereby approved,

Section 2.                     That acceptance of the aforementioned Deed by the City of Pittsburgh is hereby approved.
