Resolution amending Resolution No. 680 of 2020, entitled "Resolution authorizing a Cooperation Agreement or Agreements with the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh in connection with the URA's application for a Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program grant of up to ONE MILLION FIVE HUNDRED THOUSAND ($1,500,000) for the Former Homewood School project. (Council District 9)" to increase the total grant award, adjust the match, and assign an additional job number.

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Public Works of the City of Pittsburgh, are authorized to enter into a Cooperation Agreement with Urban Redevelopment Authority in order to receive a grant from the Pennsylvania Budget Office Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program in the amount of TWO MILLION FIVE HUNDRED THOUSAND ($2,500,000.00) dollars for the purpose of renovating the Homewood Park. Monies from the grant agreement shall be deposited into the Grants Trust Fund accounts 4029400338.45505.00 and 4029400430.45505.00.
Section 2. The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Public Works are further authorized to enter into an Agreement or Agreements, and/or a Contract or Contracts, or utilize existing Agreements or Contracts, not to exceed TWO MILLION FIVE HUNDRED THOUSAND ($2,500,000.00) dollars for the purpose of renovating the Homewood Park under the terms of the agreement between the City of Pittsburgh, the Urban Redevelopment Authority, and the Commonwealth. Costs are chargeable to and payable from the Grants Trust Fund accounts 4029400338 and 4029400430. The grant requires a 1:1 match comprised of THREE HUNDRED THOUSAND ($300,000.00) dollars from 2017 CDBG Funds, EIGHT HUNDRED AND FORTY THOUSAND ($840,000.00) dollars from a Heinz Foundation Grant, and TWO MILLION EIGHT HUNDRED AND TEN THOUSAND ($2,810,000.00) dollars from the City's 2021 Capital Budget, Homewood Park Construction ...
