Resolution authorizing the Mayor and the Director of the Department of Public Safety to enter into an Agreement or Agreements with the State Office of the Fire Commissioner for the purpose of receiving and spending grant funds in the amount of FIFTEEN THOUSAND DOLLARS AND ZERO CENTS ($15,000.00) to support the purchase of emergency rescue equipment.

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Public Safety, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are authorized to enter into an Agreement or Agreements with the Office of the State Fire Commissioner, in order to receive a grant award of FIFTEEN THOUSAND DOLLARS AND ZERO CENTS ($15,000.00). Funds shall be deposited in JDE job number 2529400439.45500.00.
Section 2. The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Public Safety, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are further authorized to enter into an Agreement, or Contract, or utilize existing Agreements or Contracts, to make all legitimate expenditures required by said Agreement(s) as outlined in Section 1. Said expenditures shall not exceed FIFTEEN THOUSAND DOLLARS AND ZERO CENTS ($15,000.00), chargeable to and payable from the appropriate expense account in the Grants Trust Fund job number 2529400439.
