Resolution amending Resolution No. 676 which authorized the City of Pittsburgh to enter into an Agreement with Maalka to provide a Building Benchmarking Management Platform Software Solution by extending the term of the contract by 3 years at a cost not to exceed $80,000.

WHEREAS, the adoption of Building Benchmarking increases transparency and access to building information, enhances coordination and efficiencies among departments and partner organizations across the public, nonprofit, and private sectors; and improves provision of services; and
WHEREAS, in commitment to the Spirit of Business Transparency, Energy Conservation, and Responsible Water Use, the City of Pittsburgh will consider building information to be open by default and will proactively publish data and data-containing information, consistent with the Pennsylvania Right-to-Know and Open Meetings Laws;
Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. On behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, the Mayor and the Director of the Department of City Planning is are hereby authorized to enter into a purchasing agreement or agreements with Maalka for a building benchmarking data management software at a cost not to exceed Twenty Eighty Thousand Dollars ($20,000.00) ($80,000.00). The 3-year extension will be chargeable to and payable from the following account:

Section 2: Said Agreement or Agreements shall be approved by the City Solicitor as to form.
