Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
 
Section 1.      The Mayor and the Director of Public Safety are hereby authorized to amend Resolution No. 148 of 2011 in order to increase the overall cost of the City's current Spay and Neuter program as administered by the Animal Control Division, which reimburses vendors for spay and neuter services performed upon animals owned by or in the care of City of Pittsburgh residents. The original not-to-exceed amount of Fifty Thousand Dollars and no cents ($50,000.00) is hereby increased to a not-to-exceed amount of Seventy-Five Thousand Dollars and no cents ($75,000.00) chargeable to and payable from 11101.53.53533.280000.2014.  This amended not-to-exceed amount of $75,000 shall cover expenses for spay and neuter services previously performed as well as additional spay and neuter procedures that are currently scheduled to take place on or before December 31, 2014.
