Whereas, the ICA resolved and adopted Resolution No. 3-2017 on January 8, 2018; and

Whereas, the ICA determined in Resolution No. 3-2017 that it is in the best interest of the City to fund the ICA’s operations in lieu of the General Assembly’s annual appropriation for the 2017-2018 fiscal year;

Be it resolved by Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

Section 1.                     The Mayor is hereby authorized to issue and the City Controller to countersign a warrant in favor of the Intergovernmental Cooperation Authority for Cities of the Second Class in the amount of $37,000.00 for the funding required to cease ICA operations, chargeable to and payable from the Department of Finance account 11101.107000.53.53901.2018.
