Title: NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council in the City of Pittsburgh recognizes and commends Central Catholic High School Football Team for their sportsmanship, teamwork and commitment to a winning tradition.

Body
WHEREAS, Central Catholic High School strives for academic excellence while offering a balance of athletics and spirituality and creates a solid foundation for young men to build a successful tomorrow; and
 
WHEREAS, Central Catholic High School, fields a competitive team on the Freshman, Junior-Varsity, and Varsity levels and competes in the Quad A section of the W.P.I.A.L.; and
 
WHEREAS, in the fall of 2003, under the direction of Head Coach, Art Walker, Jr. and Assistant Coach, Rick Capretta, the Central Catholic High School Varsity Football Team had a Conference Record of 5-1-0 and an overall record of 13-2-0. The coaches always emphasized toughness and intensity, and the idea of giving an all-out effort (both physically and mentally) in practices and games. Co- Captains, Patrick Fitzgerald, Derek Ciocca and Brian Hentosz, led their teammates to capture the WPIAL Class AAAA Championship.
