Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

Section 1.  The Mayor is hereby authorized to issue and the City Controller to countersign a $425,000.00 warrant in favor of Norfolk Southern Railway Company c/o Brian H. Simmons, Esquire, Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney, P.C., One Oxford Centre, 20th Floor, Pittsburgh, PA 15219-1410, in settlement of damaged railroad tracks and roadbeds due to landslides, charging same to Code Account 46, Index Code 004606, Fund 1000, Sub 170, Account 582200, Org. 999200, Budget Year 2008.
