Body
Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
 
Section 1.  The Mayor and the Director of the Department of General Services on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a Lease Agreement(s) and/or Sub-lease Agreement(s) with The Pittsburgh Children's Museum, in a form approved by the City Solicitor, for a leasing of a City facility known as the Buhl Planetarium Building and associated property located in the 22nd Ward of the City of Pittsburgh at Allegheny Square on Federal Street, with the right to use said facility as an integral part of the expansion project of the existing Children's Museum site for an annual rental fee of One ($1.00) Dollar per year for a twenty-nine (29) year and eleven (11) month period.  Said Lease Agreement(s) and/or Sub-lease Agreement(s) shall be in a form approved by the City Solicitor and shall contain such terms and conditions for the protection of the City as said Solicitor may require.  
 
Section 2.  The agreement between the City of Pittsburgh and the Children's Museum shall contain a stipulation which provides for an eight-week reprieve so that the City of Pittsburgh can review disposition and utilization of the artifacts located in the Buhl Planetarium.
