Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

 

Section 1.  The Mayor and Director of the Department of Mobility and Infrastructure are authorized to apply for grant funding from the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development’ Greenways, Trails and Recreation Program to provide funding for the planning of the Emerson Street Multimodal Path and Plaza.  The total project cost is $230,000.00.  The grant proposal includes an ask of $200,000 with a local match of $30,000 to come out of the 2020 City of Pittsburgh Capital Budget (JDE 6059050120).  In the event the grant is awarded, this resolution provides for an agreement and expenditures not to exceed TWO HUNDRED THIRTY THOUSAND ($230,000.00) dollars for this stated purpose.
