Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

 

Section 1.                     The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Public Works are authorized to execute relevant agreements with the Recycling Partnership Inc. in order to receive a grant award in the amount of SIX HUNDRED AND FIFTY THOUSAND ($650,000.00) dollars for the purpose of conducting public outreach surrounding the City’s recycling program and purchasing containers for curbside residential recycling collection. Monies from the grant agreement shall be deposited into the Grants Trust Fund account 4029400303.48311.00.

 

Section 2.                     The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Public Works are further authorized to enter into agreements and contracts, or utilize existing agreements or contracts, at a cost not to exceed SIX HUNDRED AND FIFTY THOUSAND ($650,000.00) dollars, for the purposes of conducting public outreach surrounding the City’s recycling program and purchasing containers for curbside residential recycling collection under the terms of the agreement between the City of Pittsburgh and the Recycling Partnership Inc.; chargeable to and payable from the Grants Trust Fund account 4029400303.50000.00.
