SECTION 1.  The Mayor and the Directors of the Departments of Engineering and Construction, City Planning and Public Works are hereby authorized and directed to create a Public Infrastructure Task Force for the purpose of developing a new Pennsylvania standard for infrastructure development that will take into account all state & federal regulations to incorporate a new architectural integrity and sensitive design for the Commonwealth. 

This Task Force should include, but is not limited to, the following members:

                     Pennsylvania Dept. of Transportation

                     Port Authority of Allegheny County

                     Federal Highway Administration

                     Pittsburgh Water & Sewer Authority

                     Allegheny County Sanitary Authority

                     Appropriate public utility companies

                     City of Pittsburgh Departments of Planning, Engineering & Construction &

Public Works

RiverLife Task Force

                     Pittsburgh History & Landmarks Foundation

                     Preservation Pittsburgh
