Resolution amending Resolution No. 713, effective December 31, 2007, entitled: "Resolution providing for the creation of the Ethics Board Trust Fund (EBTF) and setting conditions for the deposit and expenditure of such funds."

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. That Resolution No. 713, effective December 31, 2007, is hereby amended as follows:

That the City Controller is hereby authorized and directed to create a trust fund entitled "The Ethics Board Trust Fund (EBTF)" into which shall be deposited funding from the City Operating Budget as appropriated by City Council.
Section 2. Any such funds accumulated may be expended only to pay for ANY LEGITIMATE OPERATING EXPENDITURES OF THE ETHICS BOARD, INCLUDING providing independent legal assistance chosen by and for the exclusive use of the Ethics Board.
Section 3. Funding in the amount of Ten Thousand Dollars $10,000.00 shall be made available in the 2008 City Operating budget in the City-wide Non-departmental budget, Organization 999200, Transfers Subclass 400.
Section 4. The funds in the above line item shall be transferred to the trust fund at the first available opportunity but no later than February 8, 2008.
