BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OFO THE CITY OF PITTSBURGH AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1.                     The Council of the City of Pittsburgh authorizes and directs the Directors of City Planning, Engineering and Construction, and Public Works to create a complete inventory of War Memorials in the City of Pittsburgh.  The inventory is to consist of, but not be limited to, the location, ownership, brief history, condition grading, list of repairs and/or needed maintenance with cost estimates, and a photograph for each War Memorial.

SECTION 2.  The War Memorial Inventory is to be presented to the Council of the City of Pittsburgh during the 2002 Budget Hearings held in November and December 2001.
