Title

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
 
Section 1.  The Mayor and the Director of Finance are hereby authorized to enter into a Grant Agreement with the Howard Heinz Endowment to obtain $40,000 in grant monies that will be used by the City for Phase I of a pilot project to create a web-based data analysis, correlation and visualization framework to help develop the City's Hazard Mitigation Plan.  The Grant Agreement shall be approved as to form and substance by the City Solicitor and monies shall be deposited into the Grants Trust Fund: account 450500, fund 2920 2940, organization code 102000, program code B6963 project PRB6963, budget year 2006 2007, Office of the Mayor.
 
Section 2.  The Director of Finance Mayor, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, is hereby further authorized to enter into an Agreement or Agreements, in form approved by the City Solicitor, for professional services required under the terms and conditions of the Grant Agreement with the Howard Heinz Endowment outlined in Section 1 of this resolution.  Said Agreement or Agreements shall not exceed $40,000 chargeable to and payable from the Grants Trust Fund: account 526100, fund 2920 2940, sub-class 600 PGHPR, organization code 102000, program code B6963 project PRB6963, budget year 2006 2007, Office of the Mayor.
