Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

Section 1.      The Chief of the Bureau of Building Inspection, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, is hereby authorized to advertise for bids and to secure letter bids and to award a contract or contracts for the demolition and removal of condemned buildings at a cost not to exceed $2,250,000 (two million, two hundred fifty thousand dollars) chargeable to and payable from Code Account Capital Project Funds, Fund 6100, Organization 270000, Sub-Class PGHPR, Budget Year 2008, Project 2210011, Account 000000.
