The grant requires a match from the City of Pittsburgh in the amount not to exceed ONE HUNDRED THIRTY THOUSAND ($130,000) dollars and a match from Carnegie Mellon University in the amount not to exceed TWO HUNDRED THOUSAND ($200,000) dollars for this stated purpose for a total project cost of ONE MILLION SIX HUNDRED FIFTY THOUSAND ($1,650,000.00) dollars.

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

Section 1. The Mayor and the Director of the Office of Management and Budget, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are authorized to enter into an Agreement or Agreements with the U.S. Department of Transportation for the purpose of receiving grant funds in the amount not to exceed ONE MILLION THREE HUNDRED TWENTY THOUSAND ($1,320,000.00) dollars to conduct a road safety audit of up to 10 High Injury corridors, develop a Vision Zero-focused Complete Streets Design Manual, and deploy three demonstration projects. Monies from the grant agreement shall be deposited into the Grants Trust Fund account 6029400490.45703.00. The grant requires a match from the City of Pittsburgh in the amount not to exceed ONE HUNDRED THIRTY THOUSAND ($130,000) dollars to come out of JDE accounts 6074012323; 6074012422; 6074013021; 6074015819 and a match from Carnegie Mellon University in the amount not to exceed TWO HUNDRED THOUSAND ($200,000) dollars for this stated purpose for a total project c...
