Resolution authorizing the Mayor and the Director of the Department of Finance, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, to enter into a utility easement agreement or agreements with Crown Castle Inc. to access, excavate, bore, and install internet connectivity infrastructure under, across, and over city-owned property located at 4740 Mossfield St. (Parcel IDs 50-E-130 & 50-E-131), at no cost to the City.

WHEREAS, the City of Pittsburgh (the "Grantor") is the owner in fee simple of certain parcels of real property located in the 10th Ward of the City of Pittsburgh, County of Allegheny, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, being known as Pittsburgh EMS Medic 6 located at 4740 Mossfield St, Pittsburgh, PA 15224, being identified as Block and Lot No. 0050-E-00130-0000-00 and No. 0050-E-00131-0000-00 in the Allegheny County Department of Real Estate, as more particularly shown on Exhibit "A" attached hereto;
WHEREAS, Crown Castle Inc. (the "Grantee") wishes to connect subterranean telecommunications utility infrastructure from Duquesne Light Company pole #1466 to 4740 Mossfield St;
WHEREAS, the City is willing to provide a utility easement to Crown Castle Inc. in order to access and perform the necessary boring and installation of telecommunications infrastructure under, across, and over the aforementioned city-owned parcels;
WHEREAS, the Grantee's work will improve internet connectivity for City medic services personnel at Pittsburgh EMS Medic 6;
Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Finance, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are hereby authorized to enter into a utility easement agreement or agreements with Crown Castle Inc. to access, excavate, bore, and install internet connectivity infrastructure under, across, and over city-owned property at Pittsburgh EMS Medic 6 located at 4740 Mossfield St. (Parcel IDs 50-E-130 & 50-E-131).
