Resolution authorizing the Mayor and the Director of the Department of Public Works and/or the Director of the Department of Finance to enter into an Agreement or Agreements and/or Lease or Leases with Three Rivers Waterkeeper (“3RWK”) for stewardship of the Island Marina by 3RWK at an annual fee of One Dollar ($1.00), for a period of Five (5) years, with a Five (5) year option to renew.

WHEREAS, 3RWK would provide stewardship of the City-owned Island Marina, in addition to creating an on-the-water hub, providing programming along the riverfront.
Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Public Works and/or the Director of the Department of Finance are hereby authorized to enter into an Agreement or Agreements and/or Lease or Leases with Three Rivers Waterkeeper (“3RWK”) for stewardship of the Island Marina by 3WRK at an annual fee of One Dollar ($1.00), for a period of Five (5) years, with a Five (5) year option to renew.
Section 2. Said Agreement or Agreements and/or Lease or Leases thereto shall be approved by the City Solicitor as to form and will contain those terms and conditions for the property as the City Solicitor may require.
