Resolution authorizing the Mayor and the Director of the Department of Public Works, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, to enter into an Agreement with the Pittsburgh Water and Sewer Authority (PWSA) for temporary Right of Entry and License at Moore Park for the purpose of stormwater improvements at no cost to the City.

WHEREAS, Moore Park is located in the Brookline neighborhood, parcel numbers 34-P-1 and 34-N-86; and
WHEREAS, the stormwater improvements project will contribute to the management of stormwater runoff with the goal of maximizing the reduction of sediment loading in Sawmill Run for Total Maximum Daily Load (“TMDL”) compliance; reduce localized surface flooding; improve water quality; and accrue economic, social, and environmental benefits for the local, as well as regional communities.
Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Public Works, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are hereby authorized to enter into an Agreement with the Pittsburgh Water and Sewer Authority (PWSA) for temporary Right of Entry and License at Moore Park for the purpose of stormwater improvements at no cost to the City.
Section 2. The Agreement shall be subject to review by the City Solicitor as to form.
