Title

Resolution providing authorization for the City of Pittsburgh to receive reimbursement from The Department of Health and Human Services through the Early Retiree Reinsurance Program in the amount of $1,660,337.22, and authorizing the Director of Personnel to make expenses and in accordance with the Department of Health and Human Services Early Retiree Reinsurance Program.

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

Section 1.      The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Personnel and Civil Service Commission, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are hereby authorized to receive funds from the Department of Health and Human Services as part of the Early Retiree Reinsurance Program.  The total amount receivable shall not exceed One Million Six Hundred Sixty Thousand Three Hundred Thirty Seven Dollars and Twenty-Two Cents ($1,660,337.22):

Section 2.      The City Treasurer is hereby authorized and directed make all authorized expenses related to the Early Retiree Reinsurance Program from the Grants Trust Fund.  The total amount expended shall not exceed One Million Six Hundred Sixty Thousand Three Hundred Thirty Seven Dollars and Twenty-Two Cents ($1,660,337.22):
