Title

Resolution authorizing the Mayor and the Director of the Department of Public Works

to enter into a Deed of Easement and Agreement with Progress Street Partners. Ltd. For a pedestrian bridge over Heinz Street and a portion of the Reservoir Building on the right-of-way of River Avenue in the 23rd  Ward, 1st  Council District of the City of Pittsburgh.

Body

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

Section 1.  The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Public Works are hereby authorized to execute in form approved by the City Solicitor a Deed of Easement and Agreement with Progress Street Partners, Ltd. for an existing pedestrian bridge extending over the right-of-way of Heinz Street,  12'6" wide, total length approximately 61' and 20'4" above the sidewalk area of Heinz Street and the existing Reservoir Building extending 2'1" out by 159' in length on the northern sidewalk area of River Avenue.

Section2:  Any Resolution or Ordinance or part thereof conflicting with the provisions of this Resolution is hereby repealed so far as the same affects this Resolution in the 23rd  Ward, 1st  Council District of the City of Pittsburgh.
