Title

Resolution authorizing the Mayor and Director of the Department of Mobility and Infrastructure (DOMI) and/or the Department of Innovation and Performance (I&P) on behalf of the City, to enter into an agreement with SharedStreets, in order to receive access to their visualization platform suite, which will further the City’s ability to deliver mobility services to residents.

 

Body

WHEREAS, SharedStreets intends to provide cities with data at no cost to the City in either historic or real time formats, collaborate with key stakeholders and manage innovation; and

 

WHEREAS, SharedStreets is willing to provide data to the City may require that City consent to certain terms of use in order to access this digital platform; and

 

WHEREAS, certain transportation data would be contributed to the datasets assembled by SharedStreets; and

 

WHEREAS, the City now wishes to enter into an agreement with SharedStreets in order to allow the City to access SharedStreets’ data visualization platform that may include certain terms of use.

 

 

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

 

Section 1.                     The Mayor and Director of the Department of Mobility and Infrastructure (DOMI) and/or the Department of Innovation and Performance (I&P) on behalf of the City, are authorized to enter into an agreement with SharedStreets, in order to receive access to the SharedStreets data visualization platform that will further the City’s ability to deliver mobility services to residents.

 

Section 2.                     This resolution does not authorize entering into an agreement or agreements involving the appropriation or expenditure of City funds in order to receive data sets or access to datasets or visualization platforms.
