Resolution authorizing the Mayor and Director of the Department of Public Safety to enter on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh into an agreement or agreements with Humane Animal Rescue of Pittsburgh for detention, care and/or euthanasia of domesticated animals, at an overall cost to the City not to exceed TWO MILLION TWO HUNDRED EIGHTY THOUSAND, TWO HUNDRED SEVENTY-THREE DOLLARS ($2,280,273) over three years.

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Public Safety, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are hereby authorized to enter into a Professional Services Agreement or Agreements with Humane Animal Rescue of Pittsburgh for detention, care and/or euthanasia of domesticated animals, at an overall cost to the City not to exceed TWO MILLION TWO HUNDRED EIGHTY THOUSAND, TWO HUNDRED SEVENTY-THREE DOLLARS ($2,280,273) over three years, and providing for the payment of the costs thereof, chargeable to and payable from the following account codes, subject to the appropriation of funds by City Council in future budget years:

TOTAL NOT-TO-EXCEED AMOUNT: $2,280,273.00
Section 2. Said Agreement or Agreements shall be in a form approved by the City Solicitor.
