Resolution vacating a portion of Windom Street and P.J. McArdle Roadway in the 18th Ward, 3rd Council District, of the City of Pittsburgh.

WHEREAS, it appears by the petition and affidavit on file in the Office of the City Clerk that the owners of all the property fronting or abutting on the line of a portion of Windom Street and P.J. McArdle Roadway in the 18th Ward, 3rd Council District of the City of Pittsburgh, have petitioned the council of the City of Pittsburgh to enact a resolution for the vacation of same, and
WHEREAS, said petition contains inter-alia, an indemnification of the city from any claims and from the payment of any damages whatsoever resulting to any properties owned by the petitioners or by any persons whatsoever, abutting or non-abutting, for or by reason of said vacation; therefore
Be it resolved by the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. That vacating a portion of Windom Street and P.J. McArdle Roadway as described below:
Windom Street: All that certain lot or piece of ground situate in the 18th Ward of the City of Pittsburgh, County of Allegheny, and Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, being bounded and described as follows, to-wit:
Beginning at an existing pin on the southwesterly line of Windom Street at the dividing line of Lot 1 in the Sota Plan of Lots of record in plan book volume 236 pages 3 and 4 and property now or formerly John Kawa, et ux, said point of beginning also being the northeast corners of the aforementioned Lot 1; thence along the southwesterly line of Windom Street, being coincident with the line of the above mentioned Lot 1, the following 3 courses and distances; North 63 degrees 43 minutes 30 seconds West a distance of 165.99 feet to a point; thence North 26 degrees 45 minutes East a distance of 10.00 feet to a point; thence North 72 degrees 43 minutes 30 seconds West a distance of 159.67 feet to a point on the westerly terminus line of Win...
