Title
Resolution authorizing the Mayor and the Director of the Department of Parks and Recreation and the Director of the Department of Public Works to enter into a license and maintenance agreement with the Central Northside neighborhood council to provide playground improvements to the Alpine Tot lot.
Body
Whereas, the City of Pittsburgh owns the Alpine Tot Lot and has agreed to permit the CNNC to build a community playground thereon (the "Project"); and
Whereas, the CNNC now seeks a License to permit it to enter the Alpine Tot Lot in order to facilitate the Project;
Whereas, the parties hereto wish to enter into a License and Maintenance Agreement for the purpose of granting CNNC permission to come upon Alpine Tot Lot for the purpose of permitting the playground construction.
Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Parks and Recreation and the Director of the Department of Public Works are hereby authorized to enter into a License and Maintenance Agreement with the Central Northside Neighborhood Council to provide playground equipment for the Alpine Tot Lot. The License and Maintenance Agreement shall permit shall be in a form approved by the City Solicitor.
