Resolution authorizing the Mayor and Director of the Department of Public Works to execute relevant agreements to receive grant funding from the Pennsylvania Energy Development Authority’s COVID-19 Restart Grant for the installation of electric vehicle charging stations at the Second Avenue Parking lot and further providing for an agreement and expenditures not to exceed ONE HUNDRED EIGHTY NINE THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED THREE ($189,403.00) dollars for this stated purpose.

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

 

Section 1.                     The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Public Works of the City of Pittsburgh, are hereby authorized to execute relevant agreements with the Pennsylvania Energy Development Authority in order to receive a grant award in the amount of ONE HUNDRED EIGHTY NINE THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED THREE ($189,403.00) DOLLARS to install electric vehicle charging stations at the Second Avenue Parking Lot. Monies from the grant agreement shall be deposited into the Grants Trust Fund account 4029400341.45505.00.

 

Section 2.  The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Public Works of the City of Pittsburgh, are further authorized to enter into agreements, or contracts, or utilize existing agreements or contracts not to exceed ONE HUNDRED EIGHTY NINE THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED THREE ($189,403.00) DOLLARS to install electric vehicle charging stations at the Second Avenue Parking Lot. Costs are chargeable to and payable from the Grants Trust Fund account 4029400341.50000.00.
